Newbees
First Contact.
Focus: Rhythm & Embrace
Light, simple, and fun. Learn to recognize the quick-quick-slow rhythm, find comfort in the embrace, and try your first basic step, opening, and turns.
Amarelinhos
Building Foundations.
Focus: Keeping Rhythm & Basic Repertoire
Now you keep the rhythm, not just recognize it. Learn caminhadas, rotations like facão and pião, and trocas de lado. Start holding your own balance and making balanço natural.
Amarelão
The Bridge.
Focus: Essentials of Roots & Universitário
The last basic level. Build a solid foundation in both styles: sacadas, caminhada travada, and paulistas for roots—corridor variations, basic 5-step turns, and giro invertido for universitário.
Fogo
Maturity.
Focus: Build maturity as a dancer
Push your dance further. Better connect to the music and through it connect to yourself and your partner. Combine universitário with roots seamlessly—abriu estranhos, counter-clockwise flow, pescadas, and more complex turns.
Lua
Making It Yours.
Focus: More Connected, More Musical, More Fun
You have the foundation—now we deepen it together. Make your dance more connected, more comfortable, more musical, more fun. Complex repertoire becomes a tool, not the goal.
Our Pillars
We are nerds about technique, but we dance for happiness.
Felicidade
Happiness
'Leave lighter than you arrived.'
We take the program seriously, but first and foremost with love, humor, lightness, and joy. We value creating bonds between teachers and students.
Inspiração
Inspiration
'Why movements fit together.'
Sequences come from a moment of inspiration—showing why movements connect and feel good in sequence. Whether it's the flow, the harmony, or how it makes you feel.
Técnica
Technique
'Tools for freedom.'
Technique is knowledge shared simply. Extra tools for students to base their dances on—and find their own versions of movements as they evolve.
Humildade
Humility
'No one should feel uncomfortable.'
Knowing how to listen, give feedback at the right time, and say "I don't know" honestly. Advanced students encourage beginners—that's part of our culture.
"Technical warmth means we bring the precision of nerds and the heart of poets. We chase leveza—that lightness in connection that makes every dance feel like floating."
